2021 Year End Summary

December 31, 2021

It’s been more than 5 months since I last published anything to my blog. Of course there are reasons for that. 2017 Comics, Graphic Novels, and Trades

January 5, 2018

Back in 2016, I picked back up my interest in comic books, after essentially re-watching everything from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Every time I drive past this place, I remember that I want to take photos to share. Well, today I finally had a reason to wander past it on my feet, which meant I had time to stop and take photos.
Here's my severely delayed contribution for May the Fourth this year.
It felt like a weird coincidence that my new Lego orchid arrived on the 17th anniversary of my mother's death, so I decided to build it in memory of her.
This is what happens when everyone I've talked to about reading Sandman says I need to read Swamp Thing next.
I already borrowed F9 from the library, watched it, and returned it at the beginning of the month. But watching it made me want to re-watch the whole Fast & Furious saga, which I've now done... And now that I'm caught back up, I thought I may as well borrow it again and watch it with more recent context for all the characters.
Happy Easter! My 11yo and I built these LEGO sets today.
I've been reading Strange Academy, but not keeping up with the Doctor Strange comics. However, I must say I was curious to read The Death of Doctor Strange.
Finished building the Jurassic Park gates from the T. Rex Rampage LEGO set!
Dug out my old Star Wars LEGO boxes to find the instructions so I can rebuild the sets at some point and display them alongside my new Star Wars LEGO sets (which I also still have to build). Who knows what these old sets are worth these days? 😂
