Bought and built the Jurassic World Dominion LEGO set I realized I wanted most after seeing the movie. Look at the size of the dinosaur! Wingspan is the same as the plane, and it's bigger than my hand.
It's been a while since I built some LEGO, but here's my new Saturday night build. From the botanical collection, the bird of paradise set.
Caught a Vulpix yesterday. Psyduck and Jigglypuff have been around in my house for a while because they're my favourite Pokémon from the TV series. But Vulpix is cuter.

I wish every event gave me a book to read while I wait for it to start 😂
It's always exciting finding Australian food products I miss in US grocery stores.
Just realized my hair is long enough to strangle myself with. 😲😵
When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller has got to be the best middle grade book I've ever read. Not that I've read a whole bunch, because when I was that age, my options for books to read was basically Goosebumps and not much else. I was not a big reader back then.
I took this picture the other day but forgot to share it. Just admiring some flowers in a neighbour's garden.
